Short description
Science teacher Ryland Grace wakes up on a spaceship light years from home with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. As his memory returns, he begins to uncover his mission: solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out. He must call on his scientific knowledge and unorthodox ideas to save everything on Earth from extinction… but an unexpected friendship means he may not have to do it alone.
What's left behind the scenes
- In one scene, the protagonist's glasses hang from the right ear, then disappear from the frame, and then reappear. In all other scenes, the glasses hang from the character's left ear.
- While Ryan Gosling was trying out various looks and costumes for the upcoming shoot, his daughter happened to be at the studio. She mentioned in passing that he looked "interesting" in glasses, and it was following this remark that Gosling decided to add glasses to his character's look.
