Short description
Between two Thanksgivings, Hannah's husband falls in love with her sister Lee, while her hypochondriac ex-husband rekindles his relationship with her sister Holly.

- Woody Allen admitted in an interview that the idea to write the screenplay for the film came to him after he reread Leo Tolstoy's novel 'Anna Karenina'.

- Some scenes were filmed in the home of Mia Farrow, the actress who played Hannah; during filming, the actress and her children simply went about their daily routines. According to Michael Caine (who played Elliot), it frequently happened that while Farrow was feeding her children, she would be told she needed to perform in a particular scene; she would put everything aside and go into the next room, where the filming equipment was already set up, and shooting would begin.
