For centuries, a small but powerful force of warriors called the Green Lantern Corps has sworn to keep intergalactic order. Each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. - Green Lantern was created by writer Bill Finger and artist Martin Nodell in All-American Comics #16 (July 1940).
- It is known that Ryan Reynolds, who played the lead role, strongly disliked the film. According to his own admission, he didn't get along with director Martin Campbell and was even pleased that the film received poor reviews and had disappointing box office results. His joy stemmed from the fact that he absolutely did not want to return to the role of Green Lantern.
