Short description
The film follows a petty rock band called the Winners, consisting of vocalist Joey Winner, bassist Jennifer, guitarist Tyler, drummer Sam, and French-Canadian roadie Hugo, along with their sleazy manager Jeff, as they tour across Canada and the USA after Jennifer is turned into a vampire by Queeny. Meanwhile, a vampire hunter who is afraid of the dark named Eddie Van Helsing quickly chases them down.
What's left behind the scenes
- The scene in which Jessica Pare's character hovers over the bed of a sleeping character played by Rob Stephanyuk was filmed with a camera turned on its side. The nightstand and lamp were screwed to the wall, and the actors simply stood upright.
- Due to a limited budget, Alice Cooper provided his own wardrobe for the filming. The only exception was the black and red jacket, which was cut up in the final scene.
- The scene where Jessica Pare's character hangs over the bed of the character played by Rob Stefanuk was filmed with the camera lying on its side. The nightstand and lamp were screwed to the wall, and the actors simply stood there.
- Footage from the film "Oh Lucky Man!," in which Malcolm McDowell played the lead role, was edited into the flashback scene of his character, Eddie Van Helsing.
- Due to a limited budget, Alice Cooper provided his own wardrobe for the shoot. The only exception was a black-and-red jacket, which was sliced during the final scene.
- Footage from the film "Oh, Lucky Man," in which the actor played the lead role, was inserted into the flashback scene featuring Eddie Van Helsing, the character played by Malcolm McDowell.
