The cartoon was initially planned for television broadcast, but ultimately was released in theaters.
No music was written for the cartoon.
Initially, it was planned to create a second animated film, which was supposed to be the final episode, following the "Diary" episode, at the end of which Arnold finds a map and decides to go to the jungle to find his parents. It is known that the script for the second full-length animated film was written long ago by Craig Bartlett, and he himself spoke about this a lot in interviews and chats with fans. Initially, "Nickelodeon" liked the idea of a sequel, but after the first part's failure, the situation changed dramatically: the project was frozen and postponed indefinitely. Craig Bartlett was offered to work at "Nickelodeon" on a conditional basis, and after some time, he left the channel. The main problem, however, is that the rights to the animated series and all its sequels remain with "Nickelodeon."
