Short description

When New Orleans Police Detective Danny Fisher stops a brilliant thief from getting away with a multimillion-dollar heist, the thief's girlfriend is accidentally killed. After escaping from prison, the criminal mastermind enacts his revenge, taunting Danny with 12 rounds of near-impossible puzzles and tasks that he must somehow complete to save the life of the woman he loves.

What's left behind the scenes

  • Preparing for the filming of car chase scenes, John Cena completed a special training course with the New Orleans Police Department. This allowed him to perform car stunts without the use of stunt doubles.
  • John Cena is afraid of heights. Given that his character performs at heights in some scenes, it’s not surprising that Cena seriously considered leaving the project at one point.
  • In the original script by Daniel Kunka, the film was set in Chicago. It was moved to New Orleans at the insistence of director Renny Harlin (born Lauri Mauritz Harjola).
  • Initially, John Cena and Ashley Scott's characters were supposed to have a bulldog, but a pug was chosen instead.
