What's left behind the scenes
- According to director John Flynn, the original title of the film was supposed to be 'The Price of Our Blood,' referring to the blood of the mafia. This title option was rejected by the studio.
- Initially, the film was 30 minutes longer. Steven Seagal insisted that some scenes featuring William Forsythe, who played Richie, be cut, as he felt that Forsythe was overshadowing him.
