After struggling to start a family, Julie Rivers becomes pregnant and moves into a new home with her husband. She's ordered to mandatory bed rest, and begins seeing ghostly happenings throughout the house.

What's left behind the scenes

In one scene, Julia, played by Melissa Barrera, reads the book "Impresiones y Paisajes" in bed. The title translates from Spanish as "Impressions and Landscapes"; it is a book about travels by the Spanish poet and playwright Federico García Lorca, published in 1918.
In the original script’s finale, Julia died from injuries sustained in a fall and later appeared on screen as a ghost (together with the ghost of the deceased baby, they observed her husband, played by Guy Burnet, and their newborn daughter). However, viewers saw a finale in which Julia recovers and moves to a new place of residence with her husband and daughter.
