Short description
In a psychiatric hospital, an alleged serial killer, his therapist, and a police detective seek to solve a brutal cold case before their obsessive quest for the truth consumes them all.
What's left behind the scenes
- Director, screenwriter, and producer Zhan Huang recounted that he once, out of boredom, picked up a copy of GQ magazine in a London hotel and came across an article about a Swede, a suspected serial killer convicted of numerous crimes, who was in a mental institution. This person later recanted all of his confessions and was acquitted. This article became the starting point for writing the screenplay.
