Short description

What's left behind the scenes
- The first animated film to use DreamWorks' free MoonRay renderer. Industrial Light & Magic was the first studio to utilize it.
- This project was not originally intended to be another element of the "Ultraman" franchise. Writer and director Shannon Tindle conceived it around 2001, initially planning to title it "Made in Japan." The project was offered to Cartoon Network, but they rejected it. Fourteen years later, after some revisions, it was presented to Sony, but met with the same fate. Several years later, Tindle approached Netflix, who suggested adapting the project to fit the "Ultraman" franchise, to which Tindle agreed.
