What's left behind the scenes
- In an interview in 2019, director Garrett Price spoke about how Nicolas Cage was invited to provide the voice-over for the film. Price asked Anton Yelchin's mother for help in finding a voice actor, and she suggested Cage—Yelchin's favorite actor. Cage immediately agreed to participate in the project. Price assumed that Cage would read from a script on set, but he arrived having already memorized the entire text.
