Short description
A famous opera singer is held hostage in South America by a guerrilla rebel group after performing at a Japanese businessman's lavish birthday party. Unexpected bonds are forged in the standoff that ensues.

- In 1996, Ken Watanabe was filming in Peru just a week before the hostage crisis at the Japanese embassy in Lima on December 17th by the Tupac Amaru Revolutionary Movement. This story formed the basis of the plot.
