Short description

Ten years ago, over forty people were brutally torn to pieces in Louisiana’s Honey Island Swamp. Over the past decade, lone survivor Andrew’s claims that local legend Victor Crowley was responsible for the horrific massacre have been met with great controversy. But when a twist of fate puts him back at the scene of the tragedy, Crowley is mistakenly resurrected and Andrew must face the bloodthirsty ghost from his past.

Scenes from the bookstore where Kristina exposes her breasts and Linus exposes his genitals were removed from the digital versions of the film. Director Adam Green was extremely displeased with this. These scenes are present in the theatrical version of the film and on physical media (DVD and Blu-Ray).
Following the film's European premiere in London at the annual FrightFest festival on August 26, 2017, the audience gave it a standing ovation. 'Victor Crowley' became only the second film in the festival's 18-year history to receive such an honor.
