Short description

- Marlene Dietrich's (1901-1992) debut for the American public. Initially, Joseph von Sternberg's film "The Blue Angel" (1930) was filmed and released in Europe, and its premiere in the USA took place after the release of "Morocco" (Joseph von Sternberg, 1930).
- Two scenes in the film were quite controversial for that era—in one, Marlene Dietrich kisses a woman, and in the other, she appears wearing a tuxedo.
