Short description

Cindy finds out the house she lives in is haunted by a little boy and goes on a quest to find out who killed him and why. Also, Alien "Tr-iPods" are invading the world and she has to uncover the secret in order to stop them.

What's left behind the scenes

Originally, it was planned to insert a parody of "House of Wax" (2005) at the beginning of the film and invite Paris Hilton and Elisha Cuthbert, who starred in that film, to participate in the scene. However, this idea was abandoned, as were plans to parody "Red Eye" (2005) and "The Pack" (2005).
The filmmakers recreated the interiors of many of the films they parody so accurately that the producers of "Saw III" even asked to use the bathroom set.
A scene parodying Peter Jackson's 'King Kong' appears in the film's promotional trailer, but it was not included in the theatrical release. King Kong is also depicted on the movie poster.
