Short description
A bullied young boy befriends a young female vampire who lives in secrecy with her guardian. A remake of the movie “Let The Right One In” which was an adaptation of a book.
What's left behind the scenes
- In scenes where Abby walks barefoot, Chloë Grace Moretz was genuinely barefoot. Between takes, crew members warmed her feet.
- The word "vampire" is spoken only once in the film.
- A scene in which Abby is raped and turned into a vampire was cut from the film. According to Matt Reeves, this episode did not fit the overall narrative.
