Short description
After being coerced into working for a crime boss, a young getaway driver finds himself taking part in a heist doomed to fail.

- S.J. Jones, who played the deaf-mute guardian, lost his hearing at the age of 7 after contracting meningitis.
- From time to time, director Edgar Wright needed Ansel Elgort to look more stern. In those cases, he would take out his phone and show the actor a frame of Malcolm McDowell from Stanley Kubrick's cult dystopian film 'A Clockwork Orange' (1971) – as an example to emulate.
- Early versions of the script were set in Los Angeles, but filming ultimately took place in Atlanta. All other cities offering tax incentives to filmmakers were rejected due to unsuitable climates, or filming there fell through at the last moment. In the end, the script was rewritten and Atlanta was chosen as the setting.
