Short description
A Parisian nightclub owner known for her performances of the can-can attracts the ire of a self-righteous judge. He hatches a plot to photograph her in the act but ends up falling for her — much to the chagrin of her lawyer boyfriend.

- Khrushchev was present on the film set during his visit to America. First, Frank Sinatra and Maurice Chevalier sang the song “Let It Be” for the distinguished guest. Khrushchev liked the song, and especially its title. Then a group of actresses came out and performed the can-can, which gave the film its name. During the girls' performance, Khrushchev remained calm and even politely applauded their act. However, he told correspondents that it was immoral, both from his point of view and from the point of view of all Soviet people.
