Short description
English aristocrat Lara Croft is skilled in hand-to-hand combat and in the midst of a battle with a secret society. The shapely archaeologist moonlights as a tomb raider to recover lost antiquities and meets her match in the wicked Powell, who's in search of a powerful relic.
What's left behind the scenes
- Although the film does not specify the year, the actual planetary alignment occurred on May 3, 2000, approximately a year before the film's release. In the film, the "conjunction" begins on May 15th.
- Lara's father, Lord Croft, was originally named Henshingly, but was changed to Richard in later games.
