Short description
After her outlaw husband returns home shot with eight bullets and barely alive, Jane reluctantly reaches out to an ex-lover who she hasn't seen in over ten years to help her defend her farm when the time comes that her husband's gang eventually tracks him down to finish the job.
What's left behind the scenes
- This is the first collaboration between Natalie Portman and Ewan McGregor outside of the "Star Wars" cinematic universe, and their fourth time appearing together on set. It's the first film they've starred in together in almost 10 years. Natalie and Ewan previously co-starred in the "Star Wars" prequel trilogy as Padmé Amidala and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

In November 2013, Steindorff filed a lawsuit against Ramsay for breach of contract, but the case was settled out of court in March 2014. Producers stated they would no longer seek $850,000 (or £512,000) in damages and the advance payment from the celebrated director.
