Short description
A depressed musician reunites with his lover. However, their romance, already played over several centuries, is disrupted by the arrival of her uncontrollable younger sister.

- Tom Hiddleston got the role that could have gone to Michael Fassbender.
- In the initial version of the script, Eve was 2000 years old and a druid from a matriarchal Celtic tribe. Adam was 500-600 years old. Ultimately, Jim Jarmusch decided that Adam and Eve would know each other's true age, so they wouldn't have a reason to talk about it in the film.
- The morning after the club. Adam and Eve enter a room. Seeing a dead friend on the couch, Eva drops a closed flask, and then blood flows from an open flask lying on the floor, with the cap nearby.
