Short description
Jack Ryan, as a young covert CIA analyst, uncovers a Russian plot to crash the U.S. economy with a terrorist attack.

- When identifying visitors, the security monitor displays a message that is supposedly in Russian: "Match data failed." The authors likely meant "No matches found."
- Initially, the film's director was Jack Bender, but due to commitments to another project, he was replaced by Kenneth Branagh.
- Felicity Jones, Evangeline Lilly, Kate Beckinsale, and Jessica Biel were also considered for the role of Cathy Ryan, Jack Ryan's wife, which went to Keira Knightley.
- The author of the Jack Ryan literary world is American writer Tom Clancy. The first novel dates back to 1984, the last – about Jack Ryan Jr., his son – to 2010.
