Short description

To play Doc Holliday, who was suffering from tuberculosis, Dennis Quaid had to lose 13 kilograms.
Nearby, filming took place on George P. Kosmatos and Kevin Jarre's western, "Tombstone: The Legend of the West" (1993), whose creators bought up practically all the clothing of the corresponding historical period that could be found on the market. Because of this, the creators of "Wyatt Earp" had to import clothing from Europe, which led to delays in the shooting schedule.
Michael Madsen, who appeared in this film, was offered the role of Vincent Vega in Quentin Tarantino's 'Pulp Fiction' (1994), but he had already signed a contract for this movie directed by Lawrence Kasdan. According to Madsen, he would have been able to work on both projects, but the producers dug their heels in and refused to give him time to rehearse the role of Vega. Consequently, the character in Tarantino's film was played by John Travolta.
