Short description

Jason Kemp, a recently paralyzed architect, lives in a high-tech apartment filled with assistive technology. As a quadriplegic confined to his home, he passes the long hours by spying on his neighbors from his apartment window. His innocent pastime takes a deadly turn when he believes he witnesses a murder. Determined to uncover the truth, Jason continues to dig deeper - eventually finding himself locked in a deadly game of cat and mouse.

The scene where Jason's breathing tube comes loose and he has to clatter his teeth to get the nurse’s attention actually happened to Christopher Reeve after he was in an accident.
When Detective Moore (Robert Forster) interviews Jason Kemp (Christopher Reeve), Kemp states that he is the architect of the Woolrich Center for the Performing Arts project. Cornell Woolrich is the author of the novella "This Should Be a Murder," upon which the film is based.
