Short description
A young female embezzler arrives at the Bates Motel, which has terrible secrets of its own.
What's left behind the scenes
- In the episode where the character played by Anne Heche approaches the car dealership where she is to exchange her car for another, she passes by a bus stop with a poster for the film "Six Days, Seven Nights" (1998), in which Heche starred with Harrison Ford.
- Nicole Kidman and Drew Barrymore were considered for the role of Marion. Kidman was busy with other projects, and Barrymore was deemed too young for the part.
- Robert Forster starred in a television version of Hitchcock's famous film "Rear Window" that same year.
- The film is based on the novel Psycho (1959) by Robert Bloch.
- In the shower scene, the blood on the tiles, the knife, and the wounds on Marion's body were added digitally during editing.
